The Boys - Kelvin Grove

Had a lovley breakfast here. Great choices and cooked well. Not expensive. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, I will say that the storage needs to be changed-i dont really want to see drinks storage on the floor(sealed) in the walkway to the kitchen. Its a trip hazard and looks like someone has forgotten to put it away.

Ate here several times for breakfast whilst at a training course. Funky little coffee joint situated on a busy corner in downtown Kelvin Grove. Decor is hip, and food served by cheerful, casually dressed young ladies. The menu’s interesting... with fresh fare with organic overtones very much the go. I can vouch for their breakfast burritos, and brekkie bagel. Not the biggest meals, but well assembled, and just enough to satisfy. Definitely in keeping with their healthy underpinnings. The berry smoothies are pretty good too. The staff seem young and happening ... and I suspect that they’d do their best no matter where your hankerings lie. My only grizzle was a bit of fat on the bacon in the meals ... but at the end of the day that’s a pretty minor thing. Worth a look.

Fantastic coffee and the food is pretty good too. If you buy a keep cup you can get a free coffee. We had a delicious breakfast here and found the service to be the right mix of friendly, chilled and attentive. Probably your best breakfast option in the Kelvin Grove village.

Recent lunch here, sat outside on the pavement. The coffee I enjoyed. The smashed avocado is a pleasant dish.

Average food. Average surroundings. Lots of cement and an strange mix of painted decorations. Nothing welcoming or attractive.
