The Grill at Black Mountain - Kelowna

The dinner was somewhat disappointing. My wife ordered fish and chips and was not satisfied with the quality of the fish, as it seemed to have been fried multiple times. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she brought a second piece of fish which was not much better. When we received the bill, the waitress said she wouldn't charge us for the second piece of fish, but we believe the whole dish should have been comped. It seems like the restaurant could benefit from a new chef.

I went for 9 holes golf with a friend then stayed for dinner and a glass of wine. The food was served hot and was delicious. I had the chicken, guacamole and bacon burger and fries so juicy and tasteful. Will definitely stop...for food next time I am in the Black Mountain area!

My wife and I recently had lunch at this restaurant, marking our second visit. I ordered the loaded hamburger while my wife opted for the chicken wings. Both the Hamburgers and Wings were excellent. The hamburger meat was of good quality and came with cheese, bacon, salad, pickles, etc. The fries were good, although I prefer thinner fries and these were quite thick. However, that's just a personal preference and there was nothing wrong with them. I would not recommend the Caesar Salad if you are expecting a traditional Caesar salad, as it was quite different. The wings were cooked perfectly and my wife highly recommended them, especially since they are Gluten-Free. The service was also great.

Had a nice lunch after a round of golf. Beautiful terrace on a beautiful day. Many on the menu. No complaints, four beers on Hahn.

I tend to order a bacon for cheeseburger from most pub style restaurants when visiting them for the first time. This way, I can use the burger as a yardstick to compare other restaurants or pubs. This one tasted great. Although I am not a...golfer, I meet friends at this pub every once in a while. One thing I can say for sure, is that the food is consistently good. Whether you golf or not, you should give this place a try.
