Bidrage med feedback12 of us went to Michaelbrook Ranch for lunch last week...I ordered the fish and chips but asked for a salad to go with the fish rather than the chips...the 2 pieces of fish were so heavily battered and over cooked, by the time I took off the batter, what was left was maybe a square inch of fish and a huge amount of batter on my plate. The salad had 2 pieces of cucumber and 3 cherry tomatoes and the rest was lettuce and a few carrot strips on top for colour.....When I told our server about how heavily the fish was battered she said she would speak to the chef...she came back with $2.00 off the price of the fish, not an apology for your bad meal.Well, I will never be back and neither will a lot of the others as there were complaints with most of our meals...the Brie wasn't even warm or melted the one gal ordered, the caesar salad lacked dressing on another ...on and on it went. What I liked was the coffee.I will spend my $$ at restaurants that care about the food they send out to their customers. The chef knows how much batter went onto that fish, it looks like a big piece of fish, take the batter off and you have a tiny piece of fish. The chef should try the fish and chips at Gulfstream Restaurant by the airport...now that's delicious fish and chips!!!!
I enjoyed a round of golf with some wonderful friends, and as someone who isn't a skilled golfer, I found the course to be very accommodating for average or amateur players. The restaurant had a tempting brunch spread that looked and smelled fantastic, but we decided to order off the regular menu instead. The pear and Brie salad was a particular highlight. Later, after our game, we returned for dinner and were impressed by the delicious seafood crepes, schnitzel, and haddock and prawns dishes. The service was top-notch, with our server Kathy going above and beyond. I would definitely return to this restaurant again.
We stopped in after playing 9 holes and were impressed by the food at this restaurant. The menu featured many house-made elements and the prices were reasonable. The front of house staff, especially the food and beverage/front of house manager, were exceptional. Despite not being able to play the back 9 due to the lack of power carts, we had already purchased drinks for that portion of the game. The manager promptly refunded our purchase in cash without any hesitation, demonstrating excellent customer service. She was also attentive during dinner service, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The burgers we ordered were house-made, as was the dressing for the Caesar salad. We would gladly make a special trip to dine here again in the future. Overall, the experience was worth it thanks to the outstanding manager at the helm.
Brought the kids over after their soccer game on the fields next door. Tried three of their pizzas and they were thin crust and prepared well with a good price point at 9 dollars on Thursdays. The Hawaiian didn't work for me as the flavours were to sweet but that is a personal preference as I like contrasts. The chorizo taco loco and pepperoni I enjoyed. Service was quick and we were checked on 4 times in 40 minutes with the server bringing a box over to take the pizza remnants home without having to request it. Comfortable location with good price points and decent ingredients. Looks like the menu has changed from last year? I'll be back to try more menu items.
Horrible Managers. They sit and watch staff while they drink , bark orders at them making everyone eating uncomfortable.
