Went to Dorothy's a few weekends ago and it was so special! The food was good, we arrived early (at 11am) and were promptly served. There was a mix up on the reservation, they only had us down for 2 but we were 3. This was quickly solved. The cocktail list was very fun though on the higher end, cost-wise. The venue is intimate. The drag show started fairly late, but I'm not sure if that's planned. We were there until nearly 3pm so it was a great way to spend the afternoon! The drag queens, were the Everyday kind , and we loved their performance. It was so unique and it was our first drag bunch, would definitely go again. Bring cash for performing tips! Would love to see a more vegetarian friendly option on menu, ended up ordering eggs Benedict sans the ham. Price per person: CA$60–70 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Used to be good, but I believe they are under new ownership? I’ve personally observed a general lack of security at the venue as of late, really scary guests that are frankly out of control or violent being allowed on stage seems to be the norm now I’d avoid this one and hope for another gay spot to open up soon in its place but it’s pretty much the only gay bar in town so slim pickings in the oakanogan unfortunately if you are lgbtq : .
