Reserver

Bidrage med feedbackWe ate too late. The food was okay, not great. From the beginning our server was removed. Another server seemed very friendly and when they came by, we beat them down. We informed the other server of my food allergy as I had some questions and our server was not there. She helped us happy and even asked the kitchen about one of the ingredients of the menu item. This server then told our server of my allergy. When our server finally came to our table, she asked about the allergy and urged me to “how serious” an allergy. She even asked if I had an epipenn. I told her I didn't do it because it was a gastronomic sensitivity, not anaphylactic. However, the type of intolerance should not be a problem. I said I had an allergy. That should have been enough. I cannot consume it without health consequences. We finally found out how to adapt one of the few things I could eat from the menu, and we ordered it. Once she brought it, I thought I could smell the allergen in food. I couldn't see it, but I thought I caught a hint of the smell. I took my first bite and again, it was weak, but I felt like it was in the taste. I told her I thought I could taste it and she suggested I didn't eat it anymore. I told her I was hungry and there's nothing else I can eat on the menu, I'll eat it anyway. I thought I smelled only my friends eating the allergen in it. Besides, if our server and kitchen take allergies seriously, then I have nothing to fear, right?? I ate the food. At the end of my meal, I was pretty sure my allergen was in my food. Before I came home, I was already bad. When I moved into my driveway, my stomach started rolling. I'm writing this out of my bathroom, where I'll be for the next hours. Now it was my choice to eat food, but if Freddie's allergies were taken seriously, I wouldn't be afraid. This was completely avoidable when the kitchen staff and servers made their jobs right. I usually don't write bad reviews as accidents happen. But that felt consciously negligent. I've eaten here in the past and had no problems. That was a surprise to be treated with such a disregard. Very disappointed!!!
I was here 7 or 8 times thru summer for the McCurdy corner car shows. Had a good meal and fun at these visits. This last visit was extremely disappointing. The server was aggressively rude after asking a few simple questions in my first...30 seconds interaction. Apparently the pub had a problem with the kitchen and was on a smaller modified menu (was still a problem from my last visit 1.5 months ago, but they gave good service and full menu) how should I know what happened there? Maybe 19-20-year-old told us we don't have to eat here in a sarcastic and rude tone that wasn't a joke. I'm sorry to come into a pub and expect some good moods and good pub dug, how stupid of me. We got up and went to Joey. Spent $300 on food and laughter. I guess Freddy doesn't want to make money because they chase customers and be angry at people who are just looking for a bite and a beer on a Saturday night as you lose it. Not all employees suck there, in fact, most are great. Just that a sad and angry little person sucked.
While we did not bring our angry friend this time, we will certainly be on our next visit. Had some excellent cocktails and beer, and the burgers are some of the best in Kelowna. Price point has crossed upwards, but this is expected in current... times. Our server was fast, friendly, efficient and our food came with a driving time of about 8 minutes. Even our side Caesar Salat and Pommes were very good. Large terrace, not crowded, lots of parking, and away from the summer masses in downtown we will soon return Also the bowling alley is inside and the cinema is next door Easy to eat 5 best places in Rutland
The Turkish pizza is of very poor quality and the Big Sabd excavator drink is not worth trying. The Big big Poobah is actually quite good. It is better to avoid the pizza altogether.
The hostess was extremely impolite and lacked a basic understanding of vaccination requirements. She proceeded to loudly voice her complaints about our group and unprofessionally pointed us out to the waitstaff. This behavior was completely unacceptable and we will not be returning. It is a shame because the wait staff was very friendly and the food was decent. The hostess's ignorance and lack of professionalism ruined the entire dining experience.
