Cactus Club Cafe Kelowna Yacht Club

We had an excellent experience with our server, Larissa Little, at the restaurant. She was extremely friendly and kept us entertained all evening. The service was exceptional and we highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent location, food was ok, waitress was nice, but the ambience is terrible. The music is played too loud. If you want to talk to the people at your table, you have to scream and scream as you are in a nightclub. And because everyone screams now, the sound in the restaurant rises even more. Our voices were horse after dinner. If you want to socialize, this is a bad choice. Different from returning.

Had dinner on February 1st and really enjoyed the Dine Around Kelowna menu. A full service 3 course meal for $45 per person. One of the few restaurants to which we return, as the food is always consistently good and the service is exemplary. Mickey was attentive and committed and was an example of what a good waiter should be. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner and of course the William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon was top-class.

A few months ago, I attended a party with around 85 of my hospital coworkers at the Cactus Club/Kelowna Yacht Club. I made sure to prepare myself, doing my hair, nails, makeup, and wearing a new dress, before arriving there feeling excited. However, upon arrival, I was stopped by the so-called security and was not allowed in. My colleagues were already inside and had reserved a spot for me at the head table. As a requirement for employees, we all had to be vaccinated, but the Cactus Club security, including the owner, decided to kick me out despite showing my vaccination card. I was disappointed and had no choice but to share my negative experience with the Coast Business Referral Network (comprising approximately 7600 members in Canada). I urge all potential and current customers of Cactus Club and Kelowna Yacht Club to spread the word about this disrespectful and bullying behavior of the security staff, so that such incidents can be avoided in the future. I also suggest boycotting this establishment until they address and rectify this incredibly negative experience I had. Thank you for helping to stop bullying and abuse.

Great service and consistent food as expected from a Cactus Club. The location is awesome, great views of the lake. This very busy location is a vibe, definitely would come back again.
