Jr's Red Lake Access - Kelliher

Went ice fishing here 11/26/2022 8am-10am. Walked out, set up tent, and caught our limit at 10ft, following Facebook recommendations.My parents live by westwind, and it's insane how much red has changed over the past decade.. more and more people every year since the ban was lifted. Let's just hope the white man doesn't fish out the walleye before the Indian nets do.

Not much to choose from round, but decent. Definitely have what you need. Warm food, drinks, sold out, curls and fishing supplies plus an area to clean fish. Food: 4/5

1st place we were able to make it out this year with the shack and truck. $85 for road access for 4 days. Not to bad... fishing was slow and caught a 15in walter and a 14.5 crappie so far.

10/10 recommend JR's corner. We stupidly dropped the back tires of our mini truck in the water after dark. We were brought in to jr's even though we weren't staying there Adam treated us with respect didn't make us feel dumb and personally gave us a ride to neighboring lodge. Next morning we went out to attempt to get our mini truck out and were met by Charlie and Hazard who helped us winch the truck out and brought us to their heated shop to get us back on the ice fishing. lots of fish and fun. Thanks to everyone, they gained a customer for life.
