Bidrage med feedbackSituated on a quiet old calder highway, opposite the hillside residential area, this place was one of the great sound. small but large ambiente restaurant, serves good variety of aussie style Asian cuisine. a cordial greeting was the first thing we received from their waiting staff. mouth irrigation with fantastic presentation eating seduced us while we went to our table to others. with fantastic smell of Asian 'wok tastes' getting into my nose, there's only one word in my mind. the mandarin scallop waffel was the first dish that was recommended to us. fresh skalopp with paprika, garlic and mandarin sauce sits on a crispy waffel. love the light acid...read more
Accomodating staffs and great food, especially the desserts! Thank you Potsticker! Looking forward celebrating another event in your restaurant!
I think next time we will drive an extra 10 minutes to get better and cheaper food in St Albans. We ordered pork spring rolls, seafood tofu soup, vegies w/ mushroom and salted chicken. It took 45 minutes for the spring rolls to come out so that didn't go down well with a 4 yo that kept complaining how hugry he was. Food in general was bland. They were clearly understaffed and the waiter didn't hide his stress very well which made the whole dining experience intense.
Pretty average fare here and it is very expensive for a local restaurant. There are better Asian restaurants five minutes away in St Albans.
I really dislike giving any restaurant a bad review but this place is below average. To start we had the spring rolls which were bland and the salt and pepper calamari which was nice. I got beef ribs and a side of rice, my partner had sweet and sour fish. The ribs were chewy, dry and had a strange taste. The rice also had a strange taste which I suspect was from old ingredients. We were asked if we wanted drinks once at the start of the service but that was all. staff were friendly enough but definitely training.
