Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant offers separate vegetarian and English (and other languages) menus. All dishes are variations of Japanese-style curry, which is not as spicy as other Asian curries. Customers can choose their desired level of spiciness (or mild). I ordered a size 2 and found it to be quite filling, possibly too much for those who are not fans of curry. The menu includes various extras and salads, but nothing particularly innovative. The restaurant is quite small, with probably about 20 seats. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. They are quick to add more tables and menus when needed. They also serve beer. The service is friendly and efficient.

I recently visited the "CoCo Ichibanya" in Kawasaki and was impressed by the extensive collection of manga in the shop. This restaurant is completely vegan, which is a rare find. I ordered a curry rice dish with Okra vegetables, and was pleasantly surprised by how the vegetables blended beautifully with the pineapple and curry. The flavors were delicious and satisfying, making me want to come back for more. Although I was a fan of their curry dishes before, I had stopped going due to dietary restrictions. Luckily, they introduced a vegan option for their famous curry sauce at select locations, including the one near Kawasaki Station. I tried a vegetarian (actually vegan) curry with eggplant and vegetables, and it was flavorful and delicious. The sauce was rich and the rice was fresh, creating a perfect combination. The price was reasonable at 880 yen. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and I am looking forward to visiting again. Hopefully, they will offer vegan curry at all their locations soon!
The portion sizes are massive! Fantastic. Ordering is a breeze.
