Pattie House - Kawartha Lakes

Very friendly atmosphere! Owner greeted us and had a great conversation! Menu options were awesome!! Highly recommend the fish tacos and butter chicken poutine!! Looking forward to the nicer weather and some patio time!! We’ll be back!!

Was so surprise about the food its was always good but since it was sold and new owners took over my granddaughter and I went in for dinner Saturday about 5:30 the service was great the young girl that waited on us was very nice and was very helpful I order the fish and chips and my granddaughter order the meatloaf with mashed potatoes should have come with veggie but didn't the order came I looked at my granddaughter and said the potatoes don't look right the color was off started to eat my fish and chips found hair in the fish and the mashed potatoes tasted like soapy when we told the girl she kept saying I'm so sorry she took my granddaughter meal off the bill but only would give me 15% off on fish and chip the computer wouldn't let her take of all off again she was nice about it and I really understood. This was the first time I went there since the change over need to be more careful in the kitchen area.

A couple of friends and I went into the Pattie house to have some dinner and drinks, there was a young girl cooking that night and our food was amazing! Our waitress seemed to rush us! The food was so good that night I decided to bring my family back to try it, the food was horrible, some undercooked and some overcooked. I asked the waitress who was cooking and she said the young man was . If I were the owners of this restaurant I would keep that young girl otherwise the restaurant may go downhill. I own a restaurant in the city so I know what it means to have a good cook and I would love to have this young girl cook in my restaurant!

Mixed results on food, some good some bad! Service below par! Some food was over cooked and just mediocre. Burger was good. Had to ask for plates and forks. Also had to ask for missing items we had ordered! Had to actually get up and to the bar to ask! Waitress didn’t check on how the meal was and if we needed anything. Booth was uncomfortable. Menus need replacing! It does have a nice bar and lots of TVs! Really wouldn’t recommend it!

Ordered takeout and was disappointed. Pulled pork meat was good quality, not fatty at all. However the flavour was lacklustre and there was only a smidge of bbq sauce. Burger was over done and dry. Crispy onions in the burger were lovely. Garlic pretzel bread was very enjoyable, just the right amount of char. Providing a selection of sauces would have made all the difference, something I’m sure would not been an issue eating in. On the plus the team were very welcoming.
