Bidrage med feedbackShockingly rude person behind the counter. Waited a while. Did not receive the correct order. When one of us asked, he accused us of ordering wrong and that it was our fault. Waited more. When trying to show that the receipt was correct and politely asking for the fountain drink that we paid for, he snapped back don 't stick that in my face . Food came incredibly sloppy and was not good. He was also snappy to the staff in the kitchen and ignoring other people waiting. Whoever owns this establishment should implement refresher training before losing more customers.
The food we ordered was great! we have the brisket grilled cheese, the lobster grilled cheese, mac and cheese balls and parmesan waffelfries. Actually, it was hard to pick a favorite. everything was delicious. some cons: a bit warm in the inner and her drinks could be better. but I am nit picky. everything in everything would go again: enjoy!
I think $9.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich with pepperoni and a bit of marinara sauce is overpriced. On top of that, I had to pay an extra $3.50 for a bag of chips and a drink. The soda dispenser doesn’t offer any sugar-free options, and if you want a Diet Coke, you have to pay extra for a bottle. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
The Katy restaurant is clean both inside and out. If you're new to Houston or just visiting, you definitely need to add this to your list of places to check out. They have some wonderful art that makes for great photo backgrounds if you're into that sort of thing. I ordered my absolute favorites: the '5 Cheese Pepperoni' and their signature tea. My best friend got the 'Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich.' We also split the 'Smoke Brisket Fries with Jalapeños,' since the food is pretty hearty. I devoured my Pepperoni sandwich but couldn't resist trying my friend's brisket sandwich. Oh my goodness, it was so good that I ended up ordering one to take home! The bread is thick and crispy, perfectly buttery, while the cheese is generous and incredibly cheesy. They also have a tomato basil soup (not pictured) that I love dipping my Pepperoni sandwich into—though, honestly, it's not necessary because it tastes amazing on its own. (Lol, excuse me, but I can really eat!) While I was there, they were offering samples of a new sauce for customers to try, and it paired really well with the Pepperoni sandwich, although I can’t remember what it was called. Overall, my friend and I had a great time. We might have overindulged, but anything grilled cheese is absolutely worth it, especially when it's prepared with such gourmet quality!
The food is pretty good but the service glean be rough some days. My first time here was actually at their food truck and the service was the worst. Food is a bit pricey for the quality but it is tasty. The fries are delicious but only if they don’t leave them under the warmer too long, good luck getting them to replace them if they come out soggy. Overall if you are a cheese addict like me and like fancy grilled cheese this is a place for you.
