Sammy's Sports Grill - Katy

PRO CON CON PRO 4 STARS Townlake Boardwalk PRO: Service is great! Fried foods were well liked, oysters on the half were tasty and fresh good! CON: Oysters were small and we were missing two on tray when it came out. CON: Happy hour drinks were watered down and varied greatly between rounds. My father and I each got a margarita and they tasted totally different. He ordered another one and it was half as strong as the first. PRO: Staff immediately was willing to bring out more oysters and another margarita to fix the problem! Great service! Overall? Pretty good! Service more than made up for some slip ups in preparation. For a sports bar, I'm ok with that.

WORST SERVICE every single time. We come here often after soccer games on Saturdays for beer and wings. It's ridiculous that they aren't busy at all and yet it still takes an hour to get appetizers and even longer to get wings. We Love the food but not worth our time and crappy service. They either need more servers or more cooks. Time to find a new place with good wings!

This place isn't good. They have poor customer service, even the owner has poor service recovery. Their bar isn't well stocked and their food is just okay. I keep giving this place a chance because there aren't many sports bars around but it's probably more worth it to just drive out a little further. I can see why their other location closed down.

Accidentally checked in at the wrong spot. Sammys is great, I ordered the mango hab and the lemon pepper with mild. The ambiance is friendly and very casual
