Mexpozole - Katy

I was looking for some good authentic pozole on this side of town and this place HIT THE SPOT. I had the red pozole and it was a solid A+ in my book. Good flavor, large portion serving size. It even came with extra spices on the side so that you can add if you want more seasoning. If you are a pozole fan like I am, do yourself a favor and get over to MexPozole fast. Thank me later mayne. Oh and the Horchata is on point.

The place was ok. The restroom floor was very slippery even though it’s the same kind of floor as the whole restaurant. The food looked great, but when I tasted it, it was very bland. No flavor whatsoever, except for the steak. That in itself would have made it ok, except more than half of the steak had a huge nerve going through the meat that made it absolutely imposible to eat.It was just 2 of us and we spent almost $40 with drinks. It was a total rip off. Food was awe full and definitely not worth the price. I’ve eaten at much better Mexican restaurants for so much less. I’d be happy to pay the price if the food was any good, but in this case it wasn’t. No wonder the place was pretty empty.

Omg this place is the bomb! Both pozoles were amazing! I was craving my grandmas pozole and decided to stop here after the reviews! The green and red pozole has the best flavor. Service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. Will for sure be coming back again! 10/10
