Service was OK. The room was OK. Indoor swimming pool was good. The best part was The Darley restaurant, which can be done without being a guest of the hotel. We checked out the breakfast and decided to try our luck in town instead. I have yet to understand how the price for the room was high, especially given the other options in the area. We did willingly pay the higher price expecting that it would be comparatively better, but it wasn’t.

The steak came medium not even medium rare) and then they said they could cook it blue, then asked me how many minutes they would like it to be cooked for. I didn't realise I was supposed to train the chef as well as pay for the relatively high priced steak.

What a beautiful place this is... situated in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney. The whole place is exquisite. Quality plus. You don't need to leave the ground to have a great time. Fantastic views from right here within the property. Katoomba has lots to offer... great shops and plenty of food choices.Visit here for an unforgettable holiday.
