The meals at this restaurant are both amazing and filling. It has quickly become my partner's favorite place to eat in town, and I am beginning to love it just as much. The ambiance and decor are unique and charming, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

Going back in time atmosphere, with a lot of vintage stuff around you. It is like you have been transported to 1920’ on an art deco tour. Lots of artefacts on display. Avalon restaurant has live music late in the evening, with a great European cuisine and a good selection of sweets. Highly recommended

Amazing food, service and atmosphere The best duck I've ever had. Amazing scallops and truffle cake for dessert. Definitely recommend and will be back when we're next through Katoomba

The chicken is mostly on point, small part is dry. Great combination with the shredded potato and sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The salon's flesh is juicy but skin and wedge potato are slightly burned. Did not enjoy it much. Good ambient and great service!
