Café Mocca - Kassel

I have two favorite cafes in Kassel, on the one hand the “Café Bach” in the theater street, a parallel street to the Königsstraße and on the other hand the wafer café in the pedestrian area at the Königsplatz, obliquely opposite the shopping center City-Point. Every time I'm in Kassel, I definitely go to one or the other, at the last Kassel shopping it was the wafer café before you can sit wonderfully in the summer. Inside in bistro style furnished with continuous benches along the walls, a high table with matching chairs in the middle, everything a little tight but not disturbing. We were lucky that only one table was released. Here the Belgian waffles with the deep pattern are made according to traditional recipe. Over 40 waffle creations are offered, from sweet and sugary to rustic and dedication. Several hot-coup variations, different apple-mus variations, variations with Schmand/Sauerrahm, with ice and cream stand on the map, as well as hearty variations, e.g. with chicken, shrimp or tuna. A number of sandwich variations are also offered. Of course it had to be a sweet waffle variation for me, I chose the one with vanilla ice cream, cream and egg liqueur 6,80 €, which one of my companions for the waffle with hot cherries and vanilla ice cream 5,30 €, the other had no desire for waffle, but light hunger, and ordered a double sandwich with cooking pool and cheese 6,70 € . We didn't have to wait until we had our leaks in front of us. The sandwich girl was very tanned, the sandwich slices crispy, spicy, with slightly melted hearty cheese and no cooking ham of the cheap variety. The two waffles with perfect sweetness were crispy outside, fluffy inside, the vanilla ice cream wonderfully creamy. And in combination with the egg liqueur on my waffle, who then softened the crispy square a little after a while, this was a delicious cream cake substitute for me. I'd like more cream on the waffle. The subsequent Cappucino €3,20 for me was perfect, hot, very aromatic and the fine-grained foam with hearts. I like this game. There's nothing to complain about in cleanliness. The tables were carefully cleaned during each guest change. Also on the ground there were no cremes. Our serviceman acted fast, always had an overview, was friendly and easy to be without being away. I always like to come here!
