The Clubhouse - Kaslo

Stopped in for lunch. Firstly, the menu attached to the top of this tripadvisor page is not accurate. Must be a menu. Secondly, the menu someone snapshot-posted April has also changed. Compared to what was posted in April, in August there are...even less items to choose from and add to to everything on the menu. So, considering the menu selection is sparse, the food nothing special, service was lacking, and for what I got, expensive, I would call this place poor to average. An example is zucchini sticks laying on a few pieces of lettuce with no dip was The building and golf course are beautiful, but I would pass on the restaurant.

Beautiful golf course, amazing scenery, tranquile surroundings. Golf trolleys and carts available, the actual course is in prestige conditions. Golf house includes a small golf shop and a restraunt. Views from the restraunt are breath taking. Food was good and comes in good side portions....Great game if golf!!!

We wanted to sit on a patio with a view and this is the place to do it. Had the Denver and the Cajun chicken burger. Both were great but the fries are to die for and homemade. Stop in here great find. Also had...quick friendly service

When we visit Kaslo we like to go to the Clubhouse at least once for dinner to enjoy their great patio and the view. In the past the food has been mediocre at best. This year a new chef/manager is on board and things are...definitely looking up at the Clubhouse! We ate dinner there twice in the nights we spent in Kaslo. The menu is not huge, but there is enough variety to suit all desires and appetites. We had the Carl Burger with a great tossed salad one night and the homemade chicken dumpling soup, Caesar salad and nachos and flourless choc cake and ice cream the second night. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The food is fresh (hand made burgers not the boxed frozen patties), buns are baked on site. Next time we are in Kaslo we will try the breakfast and the grilled cinnamon bun with whipped butter! Don’t overlook the Clubhouse for a great meal while visiting Kaslo. Can’t wait to return next time we’ll be on the patio!

I understand that there's new management and a new chef at the Kaslo Golf Course restaurant, so we tried it twice! The menu is pretty simple, but the quality was really good both times. Excellent beef dip, super Caesar salad, and excellent chicken strips...for the kid set. The fries are kind of cool: round slices like chips only more flexible, like fries! The kids loved them. They were happy to provide some carrot sticks for the kiddos and the zucchini sticks were so tasty with honey mustard sauce. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was prompt and cheerful, even on a busy Saturday evening, and of course the view is phenomenal from the golf course We will definitely be back.
