By the Bay - Kāsaragod

The restaurant at Taj Bekal Resort is currently closed for renovations and unfortunately did not have any seafood options available at the time of our visit. We were not notified of these changes prior to making a reservation.

We enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant as part of our stay at Taj Bekal. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. However, the pizza was just average.

Staff, we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. The restaurant had a good selection of vegetarian options as well. The ambiance was nice and the service was excellent. The seafood dishes were fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Taj Special and would highly recommend it to others.

Try their bamboo biriyani chicken/ mutton. it is excellent and filled with meat and cashews. the chutneys they serve with papads are delicious.

Must try the Bamboo Biriyani and also some lip smacking crabs and sea food. The restaurant is close to the beach and on the 1st floor which is a great experience
