Good service. Enjoyed two traditional southern German dishes. Will be back the next time I come to Karlsruhe.

Awesome place. The beers were refreshing, the food was delicious and fresh (the pretzel with butter/camembert was AWESOME) , and our server was probably the best server we had in any country over our entire 20-day European trip; no joke. Super on top of it and friendly.

If you are in town and looking for German beer and food, then you can't go far wrong here. Both are excellent!! You should try the schnitzel and potato salad.

Without this brewhouse Karlsruhe is not what it is. I'm looking forward to the dinkelbier. The paninis are always great just like the relaxed operas and atmosphere!b

Although I'm not a beer drinker, I always enjoy being in the bird. The ambience is something very special and the beer simply tastes incomparable. It sometimes doesn't work as you want, especially when there's a lot to go, but that's a flaw I can live with. I still like to be there.
