The service is good, our waitress was very friendly, the atmosphere is cosy. The food is good but one can get better for the same value in the same town. There are no vegan options and only one vegetarian option (Käsespätzle) on the menu. Fish is only available as a starter. If you are looking for local food, this place is an option.

It was as always a very nice evening with great food and a very attentive, personal service. Badisch specials, a nicely made menu followed by an extra Schnaps & desert menu.

Went there with a local German friend and it was just a great little place in Durlach. Perhaps do a quick walk around Durlach town and then head over for a bite.Easy access via local tram and served amazing Maultaschen and Spaetzle.The beer choices are a treat with variety of local brews.Highly recommend for those looking for something local.Extensive menu with mid range prices!

This place was recommended to us by a local. I was a bit worried after reading a review saying the menu was in local dialect and the staff didn't speak English. There was no need to worry, both waitresses spoke very good English and they immediately offered us an English menu. The snails, prawns, beef and schnapps we had were all great. The staff were also really friendly. Well worth a visit.

Great location, lovely food, nice staff, not crowded, beer garden and great wine and large beer selection. Great value for money, nice lunch area.
