U Perónu - Karlin

I found this restaurant by chance when I was researching where to have after trip meal with my meetup group. And it was a lucky find! It is located right opposite the Prague Smichov Railway Station which was very convenient for our group as we arrived from our hiking trip by train. I chose U Peronu over other restaurants in the area because of its ambience and welcoming staff. We were quite a large group (about 25 of us) and I only made the reservation the day before, nevertheless the staff were able to cater for us. We were all very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here! Everyone was very happy with their meal! Moreover, despite of everyone ordering a lá carte, the food was served in a surprisingly short time! I shouldn 't forget to mention that the food was very reasonably priced as well. I 'm giving an extra point for their homemade lemonades (in particular the cucumber and raspberry). They are so good!! Overall, this restaurant is well worth traveling to this somewhat less popular part of Smichov!

Plzen dobra, ale vyrazne pod miru. Obedy slusne. Specialita dne za to vetsinou stoji. Troufam si rict, ze si vybere kazdy. Na veceri jsem nebyl.

Tento podnik má jednoznačně velmi dobrou a kvalitní kuchyni. Jídlo je rychle, chutně a kvalitně připraveno. Na nápoje si také nejde stěžovat. Prostředí je snad jediná věc co lehce pokulhává a svým zastaralým zjevením nedoplňuje skvělý koncept této restaurace tak, jak by zasloužila.

Velmi dobrá plzeňská restaurace na večerní posezení, čepované tankové pivo jak má být a jídlo také vynikající. Vřele doporučuji a určitě příště znovu navštívíme....

Na Peronu jsme nebyli poprve, ale driv jsme si davali vetsinou jen tatarak, burty na pivu a podobne drobnosti k vyborne zde cepovane Plzni. Pri posledni navsteve jsme ale meli duvod vyhodit si z kopytka a tak jsme objednali 2x biftek na medium rare (kdyz jeste maso trosku buci mame radi). Dorazili dva moc pekne bifteky, jeden udelany uplne skvostne, druhy z nejakeho duvodu ponekud vic az na hrane medium, dalsi minuta uz by ho asi poslala do pekel jmenem well done a nasledne nejspis zpatky do kuchyne. Ale nastesti i tohle well medium bylo chutove paradni, takze jsme odchazeli spokojeni.
