Restaurace U Cedru - Karlin

U Cedru has been around for quite a while already, and besides the fact that the interior is not the most modern, the menu hasn't changed much over the years it is still my favourite and the best Lebanese restaurant in town... and not to mention that it was the first one opened! You know exactly what to expect when you get there, most regulars don't even take the menus anymore but they know exactly what they want to order, and the friendly staff is there to make a suggestion or present if they have something new or seasonal. Great service, these people are genuinely nice and warm and will definitely make your visit pleasant. Hummus is easy to make and easy to screw up, it depends on the ingredients and these guys know this and the hummus here is spot on, always has been! I love the small starter dishes and salads, all of it :

I had a quick meal here on very busy day. I tried falafel sandwich and it was nice. Ambience wise it is decent. I sat in the garden as it was a nice sunny day. Service is very good!

I enjoyed dining on the terrace of this Lebanese Mediterranean restaurant. The food seems to be authentic and for sure is good. The staff is friendly and is wishing to spend the time to let you know the story of the dishes and of the country. Nice atmosphere and very good baklava!

Coming from Lebanon, I've been really disappointed with all the so called Lebanese restaurants here in Prague. But this place is the closest you can get to lebanese cuisine. I visited them last week three times. I Ordered once Fatte (yoghurt with lamb meat), Chicken Kebab (mind the kebab naming we call it taouk in Lebanon), and the Arayes (the bread stuffed with kafta minced meat, parsley and onions). I was really impressed, taste is very good, staff are friendly. They have lunch menu with good deals. Shame i live far from it, otherwise Id be visiting more frequently.

The foods was imazing l went to there last night with my fiancé we loved all foods and place thank you for all staffs also they have shisa but coz of the weather we couldn't smoke maybe next time insallah
