Sakura Tappenyaki Sushi - Kapolei

Absolutely love this place. It just opened up here at Kamakana Alii Mall at the end of December. We visited on New Year's Eve. Their located next to Foodland Farms and Straub Urgent care. The atmosphere classy, romantic but casual. Fabulous decor and the food Wow great dishes, I loved the sushi, tempura, calamari and hibachi dishes so delicious. Prices are very affordable starting at 5 26. The service here is exceptional! Friendly and very attentive. Everyone is very pleasant. Highly recommended!! We will definitely be back again! Our favorite place. Always classy and delicious. Updated: They've been open through out covid restrictions and have done a fabulous job of keeping their customers happy and keeping with the current guidelines. Very popular in the community and take out and dine in can get very busy. Always call ahead to check. But you won't be disappointed!!!

Everything my husband and I got was AMAZING!!! A must come and try and if you want to celebrate an event this is the place to come? U must also try their other location everyone is a little different with their own touch? Aloha ????????

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious. My waitress, Christine, was fantastic—she was incredibly friendly and attentive. For my appetizer, I had beef tataki, followed by ebi and tuna nigiri sushi. For my main dish, I ordered teppanyaki with filet mignon and chicken, served with fried rice. The meal also included miso soup and a side salad, plus white rice (or you could upgrade to fried rice for an additional $2). The filet mignon came with a $6 upcharge, which I thought was reasonable.

Hibachi is the dining style where you sit at a grill, and you need a minimum of four people to order from there. It's perfect for any gathering, whether it’s a birthday, wedding rehearsal, or a girls' or guys' night out. They can serve the food family-style or create a more adult atmosphere with music and Sake shots (or your drink of choice) during the grilling! We had such a great time! We tried family-style dining for the first time, and now we’re seriously considering bringing our birthday and wedding parties here!

We had an incredible group date night! The food was absolutely amazing, and we enjoyed a wonderful time eating and chatting together. We ordered the boat and finished it off as a team. The dining area was spacious and comfortable, too. We’ll definitely be back!
