Ono Steak Shrimp - Kapolei

This place is a RIP OFF!! I bought a mini shrimp plate, the was barely any shrimp and two of the shrimp was just the tails... waste of money!!! The lady at the cash register was nice and the shrimp is good but I'm never coming here again!! Reminded me of the old blazin steaks menu... Ordered the chicken and fried noodle plate and it the chicken was a bit salty and noodles oily... But i guess u get what you pay for. We drove around Kapolei Shopping Center for a place to buy lunch before my appointment nearby. Steak sounded good...ordered a 5 oz. Steak and noodles plate $13 for me and the BBQ Chicken and noodles plate $12 for my husband. While waiting for my food, I found a notice on the far right of the menu that they 'll charge an additional $1 for each plate due to inflation and cost of supplies. I looked at my receipt...sure enough, I was charged that extra $1 for each plate. When I opened my steak plate, $14 was too pricey for the amount of food I got but the steak was tasty and some parts of the fried noodles were pretty salty. As for the chicken plate, price was about the same as other places for the amount of food my husband got. He said his chicken was good and the fried noodles wasn 't salty so maybe they didn 't toss my noodles enough. Overall, the workers were nice and main entree (steak and chicken) was good. I feel that the up-charge notice should be posted ON the menu and not on the far right so customers will be aware of it while viewing the menu before they order. IF...I return, I 'll probably order something else other than the steak.

About cooked steak almost every time I go in. I always ask for medium rare and well done. 10/10 will be the last place I decide to eat.

It's been a while since the last time I ordered from here. Today I ordered 4 plates. When I opened the 7oz plate, I knew something was wrong. It looked as though I was shorted some steak. I weighed it and sure enough, I was shorted some meat. It's disappointing. I know businesses are struggling but ripping off people isn't going to get them to come back. This most definitely is my last time ordering from here.
