Bidrage med feedbackReally good food. Many options. Big portions. And it was done pretty fast. $17 for each curry with rice.
Stop eating. We were the only people. Asked for a proposal and was said: “You simply try, I don’t make recommendations”. So we left. No need to support rude people.
First, the food truck is on the north side (the side further from Kapa’a Town) of the Otsuka furniture building. I almost missed it because I first went to the food trucks on the south side and didn't see it. He asked a question how sharp I wanted it. Not even 10 minutes later I had a huge container with food that I went over to the beach and ate. Great value I think my total order came to $14. No ruffles. The spices sweated me! After a day of kayaking and hiking, we were hungry. The first place we attempted was closed due to COVID. We discovered this Indian place and decided to give it a try. It is a food truck located in a parking lot with a number of other food trucks that seem to be semi-permanently parked. The food was delicious. Especially the coconut vegetable curry. The Cauliflower and potatoes was good as well. The Naan is NOT vegan but the papadum is. The prices were very good (for the local average) and the owner/operator was knowledgable about his products and which were vegan. There are tables by the trucks for dining and a bathroom available to the public in the bar next door.
Really good food. Lots of options. Big portions. And it was all ready pretty quickly. $17 for any curry with rice.
