Although there was no English spoken at this restaurant, the staff were very kind and helpful. With the assistance of Google Translate, a lovely lady recommended a noodle dish for me and I also chose some tofu and other items from the buffet. It's worth noting that not everything at the buffet is vegan- the staff pointed out three fake-meat dishes that contain eggs. I gave the restaurant four stars because it appears to not be 100% vegan-friendly.

Inexpensive, delicious, and with a wide variety of choices! This is my second visit to this restaurant.

Vegan/non-vegan: When I placed my order, I mentioned that I do not consume eggs or milk. The lady double-checked my choices and confirmed that they were suitable for me. So, like the previous review mentioned, not everything may be completely vegan. I thought the portion sizes would be smaller given the prices, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive ample food. Overall, I have no complaints.

Place is in a busy street and easy to miss if you're walking by so keep an eye out for the yellow signs. Next to a tea shop where you can get all kinds of tea to accompany your food. They have a wide variety of simple but tasty dishes: tofu, mock meat, rice, noodles. Either point directly at the food, at the pictures of dishes on the wall or order from the extensive menu (Chinese only). Owners are very friendly and helpful even if your Chinese is very limited. They offer food for take away as well. Seating area is simpel but practical like in a lot of Taiwanese places.
