Manora Restaurant - Kanton Schaffhausen

A wonderful selection of hot and cold dishes here. Prefabricated salads, salad buffet with plate size (3 options), fresh and sweet flaans (it was Friday) and a good choice of hot dishes. Pastries, coffee, soft drinks and even wine on the glass. Beautiful environment, for Switzerland, good value for money.

Although this is classified as a restaurant, I think it is rather a self-service café selling hot food. Located on the top floor of the department store, I guess that many visitors woke 't know there's a shame as there's a variety of offer at reasonable prices. I was surprised that the large seating area was distributed over several rooms, but none of the tables have a different view than the roof. The store itself is diverse and likes Debenhams in Great Britain maybe we have a look around, but most things seemed expensive (but this is Switzerland! I think the café is probably more popular in winter or a rainy day. The staff was happy and we enjoyed what we had.

The first time I was here, me and my colleague had moldy raspberries and the service said we should just take it out of the yogurt and eat it cold the second time

Went to the restaurant for breakfast. The buffet was okay so far, but the gentleman at the checkout is incredibly unfriendly and rude. I haven't experienced something like this in a long time. After all, I pay for the service and he just cashes in and makes coffee. Maybe something would be more suitable without customer contact.

Very unmotivated sales staff, no smiles, no friendly service was there last time.
