Bidrage med feedbackDisappointed…have come here many times with our under 2 year old with friends to hang out outside, live music, etc. and came all the way out here to see we have to turn around because we have our son. Pretty much will not be coming back here without being able to bring him. Feel like it was a great space to hang with friend and expose our kids to some good live music, the fun area to walk around by the pond…
I am writing this specifically about the Oktoberfest event on September 10th, 2022. What we really liked: Beautiful place. Plenty of parking and parking is free. The beer was good, cold, and reasonably priced. Two large covered places to eat at nice tables. Plenty of restrooms. Many different types of games and activities to enjoy. The people that worked there were very nice. What we didn't like: Maybe we set our expectations too high since we have been to the real Oktoberfest in Munich 3 time … – show
Bought sunflower fest tickets ahead of time with high expectations after they advertised how many activities/food/music would be offered. Arrived to find there was hardly any food available, activities were all geared towards very little kids, and the wine slush was awful and overpriced. Bought $15 nachos with 3 bites of chicken on them and a drizzle of cheese. The whole experience was very underwhelming and just a total miss for me and my friends.
A great place to bring little kids. It’s perfect for 3—10 year old. Never ending fun that can’t be completely discovered in just one day. The food and adult drinks are great too. There were some great local food trucks there today. Definitely a great place to take the family for a fun filled day.
This venue offers something, literally, for everyone. All ages and all walks of life could find something to enjoy here. Because of that, and because of some kind of family fair on the day we visited, the place was PACKED. We enjoyed a cold drink at a quieter area of the property, and moved on. I'd return, though, but on a quieter day maybe.
