I have been dining at House of ball since the late 1970s I used to go there when I was in college and lived in Emporia I always stop in if I am in town for an overnight trip and have dinner there

House of Ma is a hidden treasure in Emporia Kansas and really a must go. The food is well prepared, plentiful and tastes fantastic. While the building is a little worse for wear the service and traditional feel makes up for it and is quite the local gem. Prices are very reasonable especially post pandemic. Best Chinese food ever. Haven't tried anything here that wasn't delicious. Won't go anywhere else.

The food was pretty good but I'm one that likes spicy and the spiciness of the hottest dish was marginally mild at best.

Great service and lunch menu… Very quick service. Although it saddens my heart to say there must be a new cook as it is not the same taste and quality as it was 10 years ago… Changes happen.
