Hereford House — Shawnee - Kansas

Went way out of our way to try the famous Hereford House with family, and we were disappointed. Boring atmosphere and too expensive. We all wanted steaks, but nobody was going to pay $30-$50+ for a piece of meat. Insane. Nothing special.

Very good. I had the salmon, baked potatoes and asparagus, ribeye, halibut. Everything is consistently good. The drinks are good as well. We come here 6—9 times a year and we enjoy it every time. It is pricey and you get what you pay for.

Great value. Had company Christmas dinner and prime rib was very good. Great sides and good portions.

Service is good, but they can never quite get my steak right. Their bread pudding is real deal.

Awesome awesome awesome experience. Lori is a true professional. Service was the best! i highly recommend the pimento cheese queso as well as the sugar coated pork chops. This place is a MUST if you ever find yourself in Shawnee.
