Proteinhouse - Kansas City

They have a “Plant-Powered Protein” section on their menu and vegan cheese as an option. The portions are quite small for the price, but it is nice to have multiple vegan options at one place in P&L. The food is pretty good overall; nothing I’d crave but somewhere I would go back to.

The vegan pancakes were bitter and salty without type of syrup to mask the soap flavor. the juice was good, but tasted a little. I was curious to eat here and a little disappointed. the service was also quite slow considering that the restaurant was quite empty when I went. updated by previous review on 2021-08-18

Ordered packings (impossible and vegan option.) both were edible, but not really seasoned. protein drinks were doable, but something was missing again. we asked them to add pineapple and ice and to commit them to it. really nice staff.

This restaurant has good lighting and is designed efficiently with stand-alone, high chairs and eatable.
