M M Bakery And Deli - Kansas City

I am almost embarrassed to admit that I had never been here before today. An old fashioned ma and pa bakery and deli with a long history in Kansas City as interesting as the fried cinnamon roll. About 15 minutes from waldo easy to find with plenty of street parking. Today I truly enjoyed the cinnamon roll and will return soon to try the Rubin. Pat, the owner was at the window keeping an eye on the till. He was happy to answer my questions and made me feel welcome. If you have not had the pleasure of dinning here put it on your list and remember life is uncertain order dessert first! I just learned that my newest favorite bakery is also a true Kosher deli! Update... Last week I tried the Rubin and it was great not a surprise today I split the CEO with the princess and we both agreed it's a winner!!

I had a pretty good sandwich here, definitely better than what you find at national chains. I wasn't too keen on the bread, but that's just because I prefer hard, crusty bread over soft varieties. I actually appreciated that they still have indoor dining closed and operate through a pickup window; it made things very convenient. You place your order and give them your cell number, then you can relax in your car until they call you. After that, you head to a separate pickup window. My only suggestion would be to use text messages instead of phone calls for notifications.

The coffee is robust and fresh, the donuts are made daily, and the deli sandwiches are piled high... everything is delicious and consistently satisfying. I give it 5 stars and two thumbs up! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I placed an online order for the next day, and I found the website really user-friendly. I tried the sticky bun, apple fritter, long john, chocolate chip cookies, Reuben sandwich, turkey sandwich, and veggie sandwich. Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. I’m also thrilled to support a fellow African American entrepreneur running such a fantastic business. I will definitely return!

Great sandwich, even an awesome apple donut. People should try it a hidden gem if you've never been in the city
