Good food, great service. Some of the oysters we had we’re very small.

Food was OK. Nothing great. Too expensive. Will not be back

Overpriced food for the quality. Served a pair of oysters that went bad and didn’t even apologize.. they did change it. But what if I get sick from this? Was looking for a sincere apology…very disappointed

It has been some time since we were at Jax and we were happy to give it a chance before the play at Starlight on July 28. Our server, Kayla I thnk was very pleasant and positive. Becuse it was so hot outside we both ordered an appetizer and a gumbo. The food was excellent as always. The play ended up being cancelled due to the heat so we had the dessert of the day special. A blueberry like cobbler. All in all it was a great return visit.

We live in a Boston suburb, but we actually don’t have anything here like Jax, so my husband and I always have a date here when I’m visiting my folks. The food is fresh and delicious. Excellent service and ambience.
