Bidrage med feedbackI have been craving this restaurant's fare from just about 5 minutes after finishing brunch. Food was so flavorful, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. Restaurant is in an old house with tons of atmosphere and character. You will love, love, love this place.
Very disappointed. Half of the menu they were out of... getting drinks was 25 minutes. Wouldn 't let us put a chair at end of table for child bc chair would be in the way but offered to give us a high chair in same exact place which makes no sense. Overall bad experience. Food subpar.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem housed in a charming, old building. The second story seating adds to the allure, but make sure to reserve a spot it 's intimate and fills up fast. We found ourselves in the 'bedroom, ' a quaint space with a hush hush vibe due to the lack of music. It made for an unusual, but oddly enjoyable, dining experience whispering was the new norm.We just wanted a small bite to eat so we shared a few small plates. The olives were fantastic, and the trio dip was a hit, except for the somewhat bland eggplant variation. The portions were on the smaller side, but the bread/naan served alongside was a delight. The fried cheese, while good, felt a tad basic a touch of sauce or topping could have elevated it.The candle lit tables added a romantic touch, but what stole the show was the bizarre bathroom, complete with fish filled bathtub antics! A truly unique experience that adds to the restaurant 's vibe. We 're intrigued and definitely plan to return for a taste of their 'pizzas. ' Overall, a quirky spot brimming with character.
Sad to say because I really wanted to love this place based on reading the reviews, but it was LITERALLY close to 90 degrees inside the restaurant when we went. Everyone was sweating. Not good. The food was beautiful, but not anymore delicious than other restaurants that serve similar items in the metro for half the price. We ordered the 35 kabob platter among others items, but the sirloin kabob was only 4 pieces of steak and one of those pieces was inedible and full of tendon. Not good. Also the cocktails were watery. Not good. And one of the glasses had a foul oder. Not good. For the amount of we spent it was a very disappointing experience.
Clay and Fire always outshines my expectations. Celebrated my birthday with friends and everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was great. We shared small plates and the mixed kebabs were our favorite dish of the evening. That night's special of fingerling potatoes with tzatziki sauce was a superb recommendation by our very helpful server. Go! You will like the experience!
