Chewology - Kansas City

We had heard great things about this restaurant and finally got to try it for ourselves. The service, ambience and dining was impeccable. The drinks were fun and adventurous. They weren't all my favorite, but I enjoyed the creativity in them. This is the type of restaurant where we were planning our next visit before our first was even over. Can't wait to get back!My ratings follow this structure: 5 stars for places we frequent (or will frequent) and will recommend, 4 for a good experience, and 3 for a place that was alright, but nothing to write home about.

This was some of the best food I’ve had in awhile! The drinks were delicious. We shared the Dressed Eggs (these are a must order) and the Pork Dumplings. I ordered the Dan Dan as my entree. So delicious! And thank you to Joey for incredible service we can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Outstanding to say the least. Daughter and I have been on a dumpling kick and I on a quest for noodles. This place notched both!! The DanDan broth was outstanding and quite spicy, very true to the flavor of what I've had in the past. Both the pork and beef dumplings were amazing! The bao was also a nice start to the meal. If I could give it ten stars I would.

Chewology was excellent! The cucumber and woodear is so perfectly pickled, very delicate. The cucumber is firm and the woodear has an excellent bite. The Dan Dan was also served to perfection with the best soft egg atop. Service was awesome, we had a group of 14 and they were totally on top of everything. I definitely recommend trying it out...you may not know what all of the ingredients are but it's nothing to be intimidated by and it is in fact delicious!The parking is street parking, the entrance is accessible, as are the restrooms. Restrooms are gender neutral. I love the open kitchen, it was fun to watch them at work. I cannot wait to come back and bring my niece...she's going to be obsessed.
