Waffle House - Kannapolis

If I could go 0, I would. I've been to this place for Yrs. Today my family and I were humiliated. The new waitress decided that it would be creepy to scream Adios when we decided to go after counting how many we are and sneaking a chair down because we are several. When we didn't sit on the chair, she started talking under her breath by the F word being any other she used. When I rounded my family to take our business elsewhere, she thinks it's okay to say ADIÓS. When I asked about the manager, she said no. When I asked about her name, they refused to give me information. As a former waitress I know that people can handle it hard, so I would never treat someone in the restaurant with respect. You have to watch the caucasian blonde curly girl.

Absolutely worst Waffle House ever! They are always out of something they should always have in inventory (Togo boxes, plastic ware, plates, etc). They NEVER answer the phone because they are always out smoking. The prices always change and it?s always more expensive then the last time I ordered the same thing. And I?m pretty sure my waitress was high. She could barely stay awake. Do better please!

I visited this restaurant for lunch/dinner this evening and ordered an All American burger and a Texas Patty Melt. The servers welcomed me right away and promptly took my order, ensuring that everything was exactly how I wanted it. The cook demonstrated a real passion for his work at the grill. It's a nice little spot to enjoy some good food, and everything met my expectations.

To my surprise, the onions were raw, which was disappointing. The to-go orders simply had raw onions thrown on the side of the plate instead of being sautéed as I requested. I also noticed raw onions in my son's meal, even though I specifically asked for no onions at all. It’s no wonder he refused to eat it! The total was $78, which ended up being $88 after the tip. If I had known there would be raw onions, I wouldn’t have ordered those meals at all. To make matters worse, I ordered biscuits and gravy to-go, and when I got home, I found burnt sausage biscuits. Overall, I do not recommend dining here.

Ms. Rhonda was WONDERFUL!! She really made my morning great. Food was good. Restaurant was clean.
