Hot Chili Restaurant - Kangra

This restaurant has a beautiful decor, but the seats are uncomfortable. The food is flavorful, but some dishes are just average. The service is slow, especially when there are a lot of customers. The staff is not very polite. - Amolak Rattan Kohli, Former Governor of Mizoram.

We recently visited the Hot Chilly Restaurant in Kangra, and found that the restaurant was a bit busy at the time. Despite placing our food order and waiting for half an hour, nobody informed us that they were busy with other VIP guests. However, we did not mind. After waiting for a long time, I politely approached the restaurant owner and asked how much longer it would take for our order. To my surprise, he responded in a very angry and rude manner, saying things like "I am not a waiter, you did not buy my restaurant, I am not your servant, I am the owner of this restaurant." This kind of language and behavior towards guests is unacceptable in the service industry. I was shocked and disappointed by his attitude. I have visited many restaurants across India, but have never experienced such disrespectful behavior from an owner. Thank you for the service.

I thoroughly enjoyed every dish at this restaurant. The Italian-style wooden interior was beautiful, and the service was excellent. The preparation and presentation of the dishes were top-notch. We had a variety of cuisines, including Italian, Indian, Tandoor, and Continental. My favorite was the Continental sizzler.

This restaurant is situated just above Amartex. It has great sitting arrangement. Wooden cabins having 4 seats in one side and 8-10 seats cabin on the other. Latter ones are separated by curtains. Seats are not that comfortable as back needs to be always straight which is annoying at times. You have a choice of Indian, Chinese, and Italian. I had veg momos (could have been better, but the sauce just made my day), continental sizzler difficult to eat, as there were no knife provided, but the taste was above average, portion could have been better) and a pizza (the portion may seem to be small but it's quite heavy and delicious)

Every dish was awesome. very beautiful italian style wooden interior. excellent service. awesome preparation and presentation. We tried italian , indian , tandoor, continental all types of food. mostly I loved the continental sizzler.
