Indian Summer Kandy

I tried the biryani with meat at this restaurant and it was fantastic! The sambusa was also extremely delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place to you.

Visited this restaurant on our recent trip to Sri Lanka. Had a horrible experience, we went there for dinner and staff was terrible and discourteous. First they are short staffed and the frustration is visible in their behaviour. I had to repeat my order 3 times to 3 diff. Waiters as they kept getting occupied with other things. Later they just brought the soup appetizers and main course together and dumped on the table. By the time we finished our soup the main course was already cold. Apart from the pathetic service and food was super average too.

Very mediocre service , the staff did not advice on proper portion size hence we had ordered more . Food quality too was not great . Cleanliness very poor ,Wash rooms in particular.

Delicious Indian food in downtown with proper Indian taste . We ordered bth non-vegetarian and vegetarian and were both well ccoked dishes served with crisp chapatis . Service is excellent too .

We decided to try Indian Summer in Kandy after searching for Indian food online and feeling a strong craving for it. We ended up ordering the mutton rogan gosh three nights in a row, prepared perfectly by Delhi chefs. AFWAN, our server, made sure our meals were not spicy, and the naans were so delicious that we ordered extra. The steamed rice was fresh and fluffy, and the tandoori chicken (half portion with 4 pieces) was juicy and well-marinated. I also enjoyed a lime juice and plain lassi. The butter chicken was also excellent on another night. Despite reading some negative reviews, our experience was wonderful. The bill for one night for our family of four adults was around LKR 10,000-12,000. The air conditioning provided relief from the heat in Kandy during our visit from April 18-20, 2023.
