Bidrage med feedbackI had an excellent time. Many teas to choose large breakfast deal $3) for a cup of tea or coffee, omelet or other styles, hen or duck egg) and your choice of bread, white toast or large house made stone age bread. Relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful jazz in the background. Perfect way to start the day!
Soon, the owner, is amazing we actually ended up visiting her everyday! The food is organic (hence the higher price), prepared with love; many options to choose from! I especially loved the tofu vegeterian salad and the lime mint shake. She employs staff from poor backgrounds who might not necessarily speak english but she trains them and gives them an opportunity for development. Soon also runs diverse tours in and around Kampot, we went to the local market with her and also booked the street food tour the next day. We had a blast! We learnt about all the different food, tasted loads of fruits and had a delicious breakfast at the market. The streetfood consists of tasting everything you would never dare to taste by yourself, unique experience! Soon is a young hard working woman, speaking great english, who will share openly about her country, culture, life; these tours are much more than just a usual tour go meet her and you will know what I mean.
It 's a different restaurant with Khmer-Thai food under the name 'Old House Restaurant ', not KAMA cafe anymore. The interior is great but my wife tried food there and commented that they are adding to much oil.
I loved the healthy and delicious food, coffee and fruit shakes served here. The French press coffee really started the day well. I also enjoyed the ambience with him Bohemian vibe. It was indoor and outdoor, accompanied by eclectic music played by a good sound system. I found the price very reasonable for the quality of food.
Amazing food and coffee, friendly staff, fair prices!!
