Moon River Guest House - Kampong Cham

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. For the price this pension is an absolute steal. I was here twice and was very happy every time. The staff is faulty and friendly, and the food is also very good. I would recommend the Chicken Bojangles personally. Really beautiful place!

The French onion soup was rich and tasteful. It came with a piece of bread and mozzarella cheese on the side. The stirrer with paprika was fresh and not overcooked and not loaded with oil. It was wonderful. In the past I have a chicken kiev that is deep-fried, but also very tasty and the chicken with wine sauce is good. They have good Khmer food and they have an interesting eggplant dish that turns out from the Middle East or something. I wanted to take wonderful pictures, but something happened to my camera. The rooms are not the cleanest, but the beds are comfortable and if I forget the things that the staff always return to me. They have also learned my food preferences and they work to my desire to eat less refined carbs. They repair a breakfast omelet and give me fruit instead of bread with jam and jelly.

Good Wi-Fi, perfect riverfront location, close to other restaurants and local markets, serves delicious food ( chicken bojangles), decent bedrooms, bathrooms are a bit small and old, but does the job! I love this place especially because the staff is so nice and accommodating!

Amok Fish is bland and not creamy enough (black of spices and coconut milk and believe me I am an expert in this dish. Eggs and baguette, butter and jam (2.50$; one of the rare places that make sunny side eggs. Yes!
