Hoodoos at Sun Rivers - Kamloops

May 24th we planned a nice evening out to celebrate our 20th anniversary at Hoodoos at Sun Rivers. After reviewing the new "limited" menu, we were totally unsure of what to order. We both ordered the fish and chips for a safe choice. Oh my, the fish was tiny and not very tasteful and the fries were terrible. This was a very dissappointing experience as in the past we have enjoyed our meals and shared the review with others to go. With this new changes we would not recommend this for mid range or fine dining.

We were passing through Kamloops on our way to Revelstoke and discovered Hoodoos at Sun Rivers. It was a wonderful place for lunch. Hoodoos is part of the Sun Rivers Country Club, and is on a hill overlooking Kamloops and the valley. We had a table a table with a view and received wonderful service. My husband enjoyed the Salmon Burger, and I had the Warrior Bowl which was a very delicious choice for a vegetarian. We shared an order of yam fries which were wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is our "go to" restaurant in Kamloops. The food is fabulous (we had a wonderful Charcuterie plate) and the view is exquisite. We sat in lounge chairs on the deck over looking the entire valley. Service is great. We'll keep coming back!

Very good service and excellent food. 9 people and no one was unhappy with their order. And then of course there is the view!

My boyfriend took me to Hoodoos in celebration of my birthday, and I was made to feel very special. Fantastic drink choices, absolutely loved the house wine. We ordered the charcuterie board and were pleased with the presentation and ingredients of the board. Great service and great view. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Hoodoos for making my birthday lunch one to remember! ♥️
