Hotel Restaurant La Cremaillere is housed in a well maintained building in a small Alsatian village. The hotel has its own spacious parking. The interior of the dining room is traditional and local. The atmosphere is family-run. The menu is traditional and offers a reasonable selection. As expected, the wine map is oriented towards Alsatian wines. The surprise comes when the food is served. The ingredients are fresh and very well prepared. The Entrées are well presented and a finely balanced combination of ingredients. There is no comparison between the Brennekueche (house speciality) served here and those served in the average brasserie. Quality is the same at the edge and in the center: uncompromisingly high. Portions are powerful.

Les tartes flambees sont à se taper le cul par terre, genereuse et faites maison de A à Z, la pate une merveille. Le cordon bleu n'en parlons pas, juste tellement bon... en somme ici le fait maison se ressent.
