Bidrage med feedbackProbably they have a really wonderful kitchen because their waiting staff prefer to stay in the kitchen than in the dining area. I wanted to ask for water during breakfast service. the Lady staff literally disappeared and ignored us later after the reappearance. on the other day. I had to get myself water. the hen was understated as raw as raw, in hyderabadi biryani and in Malabar chicken. seriously, how hard it is to cook huh. do not let us go to the authenticity of hyderabad biryani. jeera rice with grilled chicken is not the same as hyderabad biryani. frankly, no one outside hyderabad has it right, so I don't really owe them the debt. but a restaurant that can not cook the regional favourite cuisine (Malabar cuisine in kerala) does not deserve to be in business. the veg jalfrezy they serve here should be given as a criminal punishment. no wonder that it usually runs empty, except during the complementary breakfast. I had to go to the kitchen to get a personal to ask for a spoon. the waiting staff who brought the food to the table at dinner did not wait to serve it. Maybe he was in a hurry to pack himself so he thought it was right to run away. they help themselves seem to be the motto here. this restaurant should be avoided as pestil, cooked and restaurant closed. it is a blot on such an excellent hotel.
We visited the Western Breakfast twice and found it to offer several tasty options for breakfast. The coffee is only average, not espresso.
We arrived at Kapette around 2 o'clock, not expecting to find a good meal. However, the bungalow was a pleasant surprise. The fish curry and white rice with papadum were delicious. My child ordered the American chop suey, which they enjoyed despite their chapped lips. Overall, it was a great place to eat.
We were on the way to a resort about 12 km from kalpetta city. we had enough time to check and it was the midday. this restaurant was conveniently found on the main street. went in, placed our orders and waited for almost a...hour for eating to be served! our plans to reach the resort by 2 were on 3 p.m. the place is clean, quiet, fine with appealing decor. we asked for authentic Kerala food. what we ordered were: meen moily, an authentic dish with fischgravur) chicken curry in kokosnussgravur, rice, grilled fish and curds. it was just what we wanted, less sharp and fresh. they do not serve aapam with the fish cure. disappointed. the grilled fish was good, but the part was meager, both the fish and the accompanying fries and vegetables. the service was painfully slow. the personal was pleasant.
The ambience was excellent and the food was comforting. Unlike some other outlets, this restaurant had a variety of delicious vegetarian options. We had a great time there.
