Tacos La Guera

The matcha soft serve here is absolutely incredible! You can really taste the matcha powder. I highly recommend stopping by for dessert after a meal on Sawtelle. It's the perfect way to cap off your evening.

This quaint little shop has an inviting aroma as soon as you walk in, filled with the delightful smell of vanilla cone batter. I tried the strawberry matcha swirl, which had a good balance of flavors. The matcha soft serve was creamy and vibrant, surpassing the typical matcha ice cream you find in SGV, but it still can't quite compete with what they serve in Little Tokyo. The strawberry flavor was light and sweet, and while it was made with fresh strawberries, it didn't have an overly artificial taste. However, I was a bit let down by the cone; it had a subtle vanilla scent, but not much else to offer. On the positive side, its thin and crispy texture was enjoyable.

This is a cozy little shop! The prices for the crepes are a bit high, but they really hit the spot when I'm in the mood for them. It's great to watch the crepes being made right in front of you, and the aroma throughout the shop is fantastic. They also offer soft serve and coffee, although I haven't had the chance to try those yet. It’s situated in a somewhat quiet area on Sawtelle, so I really hope they thrive!

Quick and easy just as you would except a street side taco stand! Tacos were delicious and the toppings bar was plentiful! The horchata was so tasty and Passion fruit drink was fresh. The location on yelp is not correct they were actually down the street, so if you don't find them at the address listed, just drive a little down the street and you'll see them!

MEAT IS RANCIT!!!!!!!!!I came here last night and the carne asada was rancit. I went the next day to speak to them regarding the bad meat. The onions smelled terrible too. They owner said they was nothing she can do. Basically too bad. I will be reporting her to the health department. I highly suggest you don't eat here. Their are plenty of way better food trucks. Don't waste your money.
