The very best Portuegese Restaurant! Excellent management, watering staff, food and location. Owners are an integral part and make every guest feel special. Their food is their absoluut priority. Highly recommended

What an incredible restaurant. The food was unbelievable. Three of our group had the platter for one, which was absolutely stunning. Prawns were amazing, Lulas were tender. Fish was fresh and the mussles were superb, chips were crunchy and soft as well. probably some of the best seafood I've ever had. Another one of our group had the ribs, he said they were amazing too. I had a starter of chicken livers which were impeccable and the Trinchado was out if this world. The owners staff were amazing. So friendly and attentive. There's a tops liqour store right across the walkway so you can grab a bottle of wine and just kick back. There's no corkage fee. I will definitely be back. What an amazing place with gorgeous views of Kalk Bay harbor. Pity I didn't get any photos as I was too busy enjoying the sublime food. Oh, the Peri Peru sauce is lovely as well.

Tucked away in Kalk Bay, one can be forgiven for not quite noticing this little restaurant. It is a typical casual Portuguese restaurant where the staff and owner/managers are all so accommodating. Our group shared a starter of chicken livers and onion and a mixed green salad which was fresh and crispy. The chicken livers disappeared in seconds and all that was left to do, was mop up with a crispy roll. This was followed by a combo of Prawns Calamari and a Peri Peri sauce. My sauce was a bit hot for me so do consider asking for it to be served separately. The garlic sauce was disappointing as it lacked garlic and tasted of margarine. The rest was excellent. The Calamari and Prawns were tasty and the prawns larger than I expected. Those who ate the Kingklip thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely be back for another meal.

Excellent food. Best fresh Hake I've had in the area. Calamari was tender in a delicious sauce. Can't wait to try their other food options. The owners are very friendly and attentive. No corkage you can bring your own wine and beer. Atmosphere is relaxed with beautiful views over False bay.
