We have been here twice now, the first time just for coffee around lunch time which was lovely although we had a to wait quite a while as service was slow and a bit haphazard, However we love to support new businesses and since this one is close to us and has recently changed hands to owners who did a lot to upgrade the place and the menu, we decided to give it some support. So the second time we made a reservation for a birthday breakfast for a friend who lives close to Hall as we wanted to introduce the couple to our new find, but what a disaster! Upon arriving we were the only people in the place and there were two people behind he counter obviously with nothing to do, but neither of them thought to bring us some water or to come and take our order as one would expect in a restaurant. Eventually we went up to the counter and attempted to order breakfast. Sorry we don't have avocados, or mushrooms. All of these form part of their breakfast menu. When asked when these items would arrive they did not know. I asked them to call the owner and ask - which they did, and apparently she said she might be there after lunch with these items. Really?! Why have a breakfast menu at all if you have no intention of serving it? We were terribly disappointed and left without ordering. Our friends said they would definitely never go back there and we have decided IF we even give it a second chance we will be letting the owner know our thoughts on the poor service and sorry organisation in no uncertain terms.

Weekdays in Hall are very quiet at the best of times. This cafe is a welcome addition to this side of town.We went for breakfast and had to wait for a large table of seniors to be served.Staff were apologetic and we were warned of potential delays.We ended up having an enjoyable breakfast, smashed avocado and mushrooms, and an egg and bacon roll. This was accompanied by two very good coffees.We were happy with our breakfast despite the wait.Staff are friendly and efficient.A tough business proposition but we wish them well.

Visited with a group of friends for breakfast we were the first and only people in the cafe, it's not a restaurant, the staff were still writing up specials on the blackboard, so they seemed ill prepared to commence service.This proved to be true!The coffees to start with were good although not hot enough for my liking.As there was no table service and our reservation had been placed against the bench seats, to get up and have to move everyone to go and order at the counter was awkward. Table service would've been nice.The meals came out one at a time the last one, and easiest to have prepared was close to 5 minutes after the others.Whilst the staff apologised it left the group disappointed.Whilst we were there for breakfast other diners drifted in after us and seemed to all order hamburgers and chips so perhaps that is more the style of the cafe?Just as we were leaving another staff member arrived and seemed to know a few locals seated at other tables, I'm guessing she was the owner or manager as when she came over to our table to clear plates, which the other staff had ignored to stay behind the counter and chat, this lady asked how our meal was and at a less than enthusiastic response went on to inform us about the locally made cakes and encouraged us to come back.Have yet to do so but this may be worth it reading other reviews.

Wandering goose hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It says cafe/ restaurant. Where is the restaurant side of things it is basic cafe food with cheap beer. False advertising don't claim to be a place your not. What a joke your place is.
