Bidrage med feedbackWhen I moved to Canberra from Sydney, I missed having coffee by the water. Samekesh has filled that gap. Lovely relaxing setting, friendly staff and good food. The bircher with granola is a breakfast favourite, as is anything with the homemade tomato relish on the side.
The atmosphere is ok. The food was lovely. The service is an opportunity for development. I've experienced rude people before but never quite like this. The waiter taping his fingers while waiting for the payment. Yes I was slow, however not the greatest impression. It was my first time there. And while there were a few people around as it was lunchtime and no one was waiting behind me. The young man seemed lovely and the barrister seemed overwhelmed. Perhaps they are new to this type of environment. However as good as the food was, not sure I'd be going back.
Samekesh was chosen for it's close proximity to home, and having only had ice-cream here before, decided it was time to try the coffee and lunch. So glad we did! Delicious home made meatloaf on brioche bun,and ham, cheese and tomato relish croissant were chosen.Coffee was delicious,as was the Banana smoothie. Very reasonably priced menu and friendly, efficient staff.Across the road from Yerrabi pond-easy parking.
Really good coffee, an interesting range of delicious food served by friendly and helpful staff. it is great to be able to relax in lovely surroundings.
Great place on yerrabi pond. Friendly staff and good coffee just off the walking/bike track around yerrabi pond. Inside and outside options
