Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Kalamazoo

Food and smoothies are good, but they are overpriced. This location needs to work on staffing. The last 3 or 4 times I've come here, I've had to wait 20-30 minutes for 1 smoothie. Not enough staff, and the staff they have always seem overwhelmed.

I reside in Grand Rapids but ended up visiting my sister and I got my first bowl from gr and it was amazing and ended up coming here and my Açaí bowl was frozen with fresh fruit on top. Had a concern about it and was told that it comes frozen… I doubt that because my first one before didn’t come frozen it came fresh. It’s a SMOOTHIE bowl not a frozen fruit bowl.

Door Dashers need to be respected as they pick their food up.The rolling of the eyes and the disrespectful attitude is not good customer service, in general everyone deserves respect. And dasher bring more money to the company, no need to be rude.

It was alright. Just kind of a place where you buy and walk out.

I go here once a week because the smoothie is good and they are normally fast. The workers are usually nice. The reason I 'm giving 2 stars is for the Owner and corporate. You have cut their food menu major and only have two salad options which is fine I understand that but they give you one souffle cup of dressing which is not enough for a whole salad. Every other restaurant gives you one dressing for a side salad and two for a big salad. Not that big of deal though because I always just ask for one more. Now though you guys are charging EXTRA for the extra dressing. I paid for my dressing with a smile on my face but at this point the food and smoothie is not worth the $18 after tip) I am paying for the pair . I will not be going here once a week anymore.
