Sichuan Cuisine Shǔ Jǐn Yuán

We have been here for years and this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the city! Your lunch is a real steal! You can taste many different dishes/soups/ snacks for just a few dollars. I tried their L12 Home style beef tendon (one of our favorites, triple slices fish fillet and L07 Sichuan poultry beef today! Everything tastes good! The waitress checked us frequently and was friendly. It was not too expensive and the portion sizes were reasonable. And our other favorite menus are H02 squirrel shaped fish w. sweet and acidic sauce, P04 pork w. bamboo shoot, SS8 Westsee beef soup. Sometimes we order thro DoorDash, but always tastes better when we dive:

We chose her authentic Chinese menu. We started with the Cucumber in garlic sauce appetizer. For Entrees we had the house Special Beef Jerk, Shredded Duck stir fry and Aubergine w/Ground Pork. Everything was amazing. We also tried Chinese cans of grass Jelly Drink and herbal drinks tea. They were surprisingly refreshing. Unbelievable. Customer service A. Undiscovered GEM of Kalamazoo Food Piens. Eating is a great mix of authentic with a pinge towards the American palate. The complete dinner menu has all the real dishes you could wish. Come ready to eat something new and amazing.

My favorite restaurant in town. Eating is always amazing. Very recommend the cucumber with garlic sauce appetizer and tofu vegetable soup. Very vegetarian/vegan friendly though they have a lot of meat dishes!
