Bidrage med feedbackMichelle is a local staple to eat. I feel that the service varies by location, but this is the most convenient for me to reach and so far its best in my experience. Your menu is now limited because of Covid-19, but that doesn't stop me. Super affordable, friendly atmosphere, quiet clientele, perfect for a relaxed morning.
We stopped here the other day and really enjoyed the food. They have limited seating due to COVID and are keeping the tables about 6' apart. You are currently required to wear a mask when walking about--as you enter, go to the restroom, and depart. I got one of the egg, toast, sausage, american fries meals. The sausage links are much bigger than I expected, and the portion size for the meal in general is big. You could add a side, and split a meal between two people. The orange juice (fresh squeezed) was good. The service was great. We will definitely visit again when in the area.
The pancakes are enormous, dinner plate-sized! The egg omelet was delightful, and the pancakes with cranberries, white chocolate, and almonds were absolutely delicious as well.
Delicious food at reasonable prices. They follow Covid-19 safety protocols effectively.
Yesterday, my wife and I returned to Michelle's. An attentive server/hostess greeted us at the door, and another polite server welcomed us as well. This time, our original hostess was not overly present, allowing us to enjoy our meal in peace. We ordered a variety of dishes this time. I had the country-fried steak with hash and eggs, and I chose a cookie instead of toast. OMG! The steak was thick and covered the plate, accompanied by a delicious sausage link filled with hearty sausage pieces. The flavor was fantastic! The highlight was the presentation; last time our meal looked rather unappetizing, but this time it was garnished with green flakes, probably parsley, which made it look great. I was so eager to eat that I forgot to take a picture before diving in! My wife ordered waffles topped with blueberries and strawberries, alongside perfectly cooked bacon, just as she requested. Everything was served piping hot. We met Steve, who informed us that the cook was new to the restaurant, giving him a wonderful opportunity to learn and improve. He definitely succeeded, as we were both very satisfied with our meals! Once again, the parking lot, flower beds, walkways, and windows were clean and well-maintained. Inside, it was evident that cleanliness is a priority, as it looked as if no one had eaten there before us (though there were six occupied tables when we arrived). To wrap up on a positive note: we will definitely be returning to this restaurant! INITIAL REVIEW: My wife and I drove by this morning and noticed they were open. It was just after 7:00 AM, the time they open for business. Since we were both starving, we decided to try a new place to eat. We parked in the back, which was just as far from the entrance as the front door. Upon entering, we were almost immediately greeted by a cheerful hostess or server (it was unclear which). She seated us on the left side of the restaurant, where four other tables were occupied. After taking our drink order, she attended to another table. A few minutes later, when she returned, we placed our food order after receiving our soft drinks (Coke products for everyone; unfortunately, they didn’t have Dr. Pepper, which disappointed my wife). To our dismay, when our food arrived a few minutes later, it was only lukewarm, as if it had been left sitting for a while. It felt reminiscent of too many breakfast buffets, and it was clear our food was from that same category. Our hostess noticed our disappointed expressions right away and had everything remade, showing genuine empathy for our situation. She kept our glasses full while we waited. When the food was served again, I didn’t have the heart to tell her the food was still below standard. I ordered a pancake, which was enormous but rather chewy, along with two eggs cooked over easy, two pieces of bacon, and nicely cooked hash browns. My wife ordered a “Farmer’s Bowl,” which was also lukewarm. Although my wife was frustrated with the quality, I insisted that it was fine in order to avoid causing further distress. To be honest, our hostess was the best part of the visit. If it hadn't been for her positive attitude, we might have left and never returned. The tables were clean, and there was no visible trash around. Overall, it was a decent and tidy restaurant, as it should be, and even the parking lot was quite clean, especially considering it’s winter. Will we come back? Yes, but only if they can improve the food to match the price we’re paying.
